Mr. Lezec is a Partner at OpenGate Capital where he is responsible for global transaction execution and portfolio company management. With over 20 years of international Private Equity, C-level management, and Management Consulting experience, he brings to the team broad sector and transactional expertise across a multitude of industries including, Media, IT, Telecommunications, Retail & Distribution, and Manufacturing among many others. Prior to joining OpenGate, Mr. Lezec was the Chairman and Managing Partner of Naxos Capital Partners, a private investment firm he founded focused on small-cap US and European buy-outs. Leading up to this, he worked for several years as a senior M&A and Operations expert for Platinum Equity, where he was responsible for transaction execution and asset management across the firm’s European investments. Mr. Lezec’s earlier experience included working for leading firms such Booz-Allen & Hamilton and KPMG Management Consulting where he was involved in a multitude of turn-around and restructuring engagements. Mr. Lezec also dedicated several years to the wireless telecoms industry, as an entrepreneur and founder of several businesses specializing in the field of mobile entertainment applications and technologies. Mr. Lezec received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and his MBA from INSEAD in France.
