Mr. Yook is a Partner at OpenGate Capital and is in charge of transaction execution and portfolio management. He has over ten years of diversified financial experience in the areas of investment banking and principal investing. Prior to OpenGate, Mr. Yook worked at Platinum Equity, where he helped to successfully raise a first time $750 million fund. He has also been involved in numerous acquisitions, corporate turn-arounds and real estate transactions. In addition, Mr. Yook’s responsibilities included financial and operational reviews, as well assisting with the development of the strategic plans for each of the fund’s portfolio companies.
Mr. Yook also held investment banking positions at Merrill Lynch and CIBC. Mr. Yook graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles.
