Jay is a Partner at OpenGate Capital and is in charge of transaction execution and portfolio management. He has over ten years of diversified financial experience in the areas of investment banking and principal investing.
Prior to OpenGate, Jay worked at Platinum Equity, where he was involved in acquisitions and portfolio management as well as institutional fund raising. Jay also held investment banking positions at Merrill Lynch and CIBC.
In his free time, Jay enjoys backpacking, skiing and long distance running (greater than 2 km).
Jay graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles.
